Start Your Traffic Control Career with the TTM Worker Course

Safe Road Services has taken a new approach to ensure compliance with the recent Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) qualification changes. This ensures that the next generation of TMOs (Traffic Management Operatives) understand what it takes to work in the traffic management industry and are up to date on the latest regulations.

Our Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Worker courses are free to all who wish to attend. Interested candidates who have completed the course can find jobs at local traffic management companies or may even receive a job offer with Safe Road Services. We have been holding these courses fortnightly since November of 2021 with the help of our very own knowledgeable Supervisors and Branch Managers who are qualified Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Mentors, and our highly versatile Program Manager / Training Coordinator, Kameron.

Our TTM Worker open days have been a hit, and courses have been filling up fast with people interested in learning about the basics of working in traffic management. Thanks to the success of our temporary traffic management worker courses, we have employed more than half of the trainees who were interested in a career in traffic management. We have since assisted these new employees to achieve their TMO qualifications with ongoing mentoring from our team and the support of our training partners at McAdams. If you or someone you know is interested in attending the TTM Worker open day we hold fortnightly at our Hamilton depot, please send an expression of interest to: program@saferoad.co.nz and Kameron will be in touch with more info.
