Wairere Drive / River Road – Asphalt Resurfacing

Safe Road Services team are kicking off 2021 with a blast, assisting in one of our biggest closures to date – road closure and detour, contraflow and multi-lane drops on one of Hamilton’s busiest intersections. Our team of 9 staff and 6 vehicles undertook a large task with Downer Hamilton during the first week back in 2021, to resurface an intersection with a high volume of traffic. Staff worked quickly and efficiently to ensure this mammoth task was completed on schedule with as little disruption to the public as possible. Safe Road Services management team couldn’t help but join in on the fun themselves, and our Regional Operations Manager Avi even drove out the closure for our team!
