Power shutdown for major upgrade works

Safe Road Services team worked in with Waipa Networks to undertake the huge job of upgrading and replacing multiple poles, crossarms and wires along Saint Leger Road in Te Awamutu. The length of workspace required totaled 2.3 km, and Safe Road services TMP design team were able to create a Traffic Management Plan where these works could all be achieved in a single day across multiple closures. SRS put together a team of 10 staff to conduct multiple 2 and 3-way stop/go setups and shoulder closures to ensure residents and road users were still able to get where they needed to, whilst Waipa Networks were able to carry out their works within their required timeframes. The day was a success and the clients were very happy with the services our team provided to help them achieve a successful result.
