Safe Road Services assisted roading and utilities maintenance crews with temporary traffic management during the Covid-19 level 4 lockdown. These crews were out on the road performing essential traffic management services to maintain the standards of our State Highways across the Coromandel and to keep the power on in the Waipa area. We are proud of our staff for stepping up to keep these traffic control services operating.
During these hard times time our staff were subject to stringent hygiene and distancing protocols to maintain their health and safety, and every staff member was listed on a daily NZTA register to keep track of how many people were out on the roads. Our staff were in regular contact with us to ensure they are fit and well and we kept them topped up with face masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. We continued to operate to the same high standard procedures during following alert levels and have put similar processes in place since moving to the new traffic light system.
Safe Road Services have implemented a variety of policies for managing and responding to the affects of Covid-19 within our business. These policies ensure the safety of our staff, clients, and the general public throughout our traffic management operations and ensure business continuity and the support of our staff throughout all traffic light levels or lockdowns. If you would like more information on our policies, get in touch with us today, our team are always happy to chat.
